What is medical social work?
Medical social work aims to provide counseling to help patients reach a level of social adjustment and solve their problems properly for themselves so that those patients who have difficulty in treatment of and recovery from a disease due to psychological, emotional, and social problems can find causes of the problems and solve them through consultation with the medical staff.
Contents of work
We participate in the medical process by medical request from the department of rehabilitation medicine, evaluate patients' psycho-social and economic conditions in general, and offer services such as counseling about problems found in the evaluation and provision of resources for medical treatment, contributing to efficient medical activities and improvement in medical efficacy.
