Purpose of Establishment
By providing comprehensive, systematic health care to persons with disabilities, the Central Health & Medical Center for Persons with Disabilities will contribute to improvements in the health and quality of life of persons with disabilities.
The Central Health & Medical Center for Persons with Disabilities was designated to perform roles as a central health care center for persons with disabilities as stipulated in Article 19 of the Act on Guarantee of Right to Health and Access to Medical Services for Persons with Disabilities with the enforcement (December 30, 2017) of the Act.
Medical Center for Persons with Disabilities performs key roles in health care and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. In connection and collaboration with regional health & medical centers for persons with disabilities, regional rehabilitation hospitals, public health centers, and relevant professional medical institutions, the Central Health & Medical Center for Persons with Disabilities performs director functions to promote the health of persons with disabilities and enhance their quality of life.
