Welcome Message

Celebrating the beautiful season for enjoying the fullness of life when trees are getting green and flower buds are blossoming, we are honored to host the International Symposium on Rehabilitation Research 2019.

This year, the Korea National Rehabilitation Research Institute holds a Korea ·China· Japan joint international symposium under the topic of ‘Helping People with Disabilities for Successful Living in Community.’ Over the last decade since its launch in 2009, the Symposium has been promoting the projects and visions of the Korea National Rehabilitation Research Institute while offering an opportunity for researchers and experts from home and abroad to share and exchange their ideas and research outcomes. We invited some of the world’s greatest researchers in rehabilitation study to this year’s event so that we could share the latest research trends and seek ways for international cooperation.

In the aural and poser sessions, we will introduce some of the R&D outcomes that we have achieved and offer visitors with an opportunity to try out our prototype products resulted from the research projects. We would appreciate it very much if you could join us and share your valuable thoughts on the future visions towards the rehabilitation for people with disabilities.

Thank you.

May 2019
Bum-suk Lee
President, Korea National Rehabilitation Center
