Internal Medicine Dept.
The department of family medicine deals with even simple diseases such as a cold and cystitis as well as chronic diseases which are common among disabled persons including diabetes and hypertension. It targets not only disabled persons but also non-disabled ones including their caregivers and local residents. This department is in charge of internal medicine (treating infectious diseases, controlling diabetes and blood pressure, diagnosing and counseling about cardiac and respiratory diseases, treating chronic digestive and liver disorders, treating infant patients), surgery (treating burns and external wounds, surgical removal of benign tumors, diagnosing and treating simple cutaneous diseases, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology), entrance into the center, physical examination, and so on.
